The Mysterious Cities of Gold

The Mysterious Cities of Gold was a 39-episode animated serial about 3 children searching for the Legendary Cities of Gold. The show is set in the year 1532, The 3 children were, Esteban, an orphan from Barcelona, Tao, a young boy who's the last of his tribe, The Hivas and Zia a young Incan girl. Also along with them are Mendoza, a Spanish navigator & two sailors, Pedro & Sancho who are the comedy relief for the show.

The entire time, the group is pursued by the Spanish (led by Pizarro) & even an ancient alien race called the Olmecs.

The show is now available on DVD!!
